Riverside was a lot of fun this year! Some of the girls had been there before, and for some, it was their first real travel meet. We all arrived safely Friday night and had dinner together at Applebee's. Coach Shannon sat with the girls and didn't let them order junk! Saturday morning we were all at the pool at 6am and started the morning off with figures. Although the forecast was for sun, the fog didn't burn off until 11:00, so it was quite cold all morning. Sunday was worse, it was only in the upper 40's/low 50's, rainy and windy all morning and into the early afternoon. The girls toughed it out, and swam well. I had to lighten up this picture of the duet warming up
because there was no sun!
The 13-15 trio swam with a lot of energy
even though they were very tired.
